INFANT COMMUNITY

When children are starting to walk steadily, we are offering a drop off program to encourage independence. Our Infant Community Program is a joyous, loving and respectful place that honors children aged 18 months to 3 years old. Programs are mixed-aged group creating a dynamic of collaboration and developing self-confidence.

The environment is small and intimate for the toddlers to be comfortable while encouraging social engagement and exploration. The activities incorporate many familiar aspects from the home as well as activities focusing on language and sensorial development.

CASA DEI BAMBINI

The Casa dei Bambini Program is designed for children aged 3-6 years old. As the children are growing, they are becoming curious questioners. In a Casa program, children work at their own pace within a meticulously-prepared environment and with the nurturing guidance of the teachers. The multi-age setting provides opportunities to learn from and with each other. Social skills and a sense of community are natural outgrowths of this multi-age setting. Children have full access to the materials which promote hands-on exploration, discovery and incorporate the five core Montessori curriculum areas: practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language and culture.

ACCOMPANIED PROGRAM – MONTESSORI, YOU & ME

The main goal of the accompanied program is to introduce the Montessori approach to families. Babies got to explore a safe, beautiful, prepared environment while working on the Montessori material developing fine and gross motor skills, concentration and curiosity. The parent or caregiver in the meantime got to spend quality, bonding time with the child and see the approach in action.

Each week, there is a Montessori related theme that we discuss and adults are leaving with a handout. The playgroup runs weekly and each term is 10 sessions.
